Youtube Music Awards pertama akan digelar secara spektakuler pada tanggal 3 November mendatang di kota New York. Acara diadakan secara besar-besaran ini rencananya akan dimeriahkan oleh banyak musisi top dunia – sebut saja Avicii, M.I.A., Eminem, Lady Gaga, hingga Arcade Fire. Sebelum acara puncak, lima konser musik akan digelar dari Seoul, Tokyo, Moscow, London, dan Rio de Janeiro mulai pukul 5 pagi pada 3 November 2013. Menariknya, para penikmat dari berbagai penjuru dunia dapat menikmati konser tersebut secara live-stream di YouTube melalui link youtube.com/musicawards.
Acara ini juga akan mengumumkan para pemenang dari berbagai kategori yang telah ditetapkan. Para musisi yang masuk nominasi dipilih berdasarkan database YouTube sejak September 2012 lalu. Fans pun bisa langsung memilih artis atau video favorit mereka untuk jadi pemenang di setiap kategori dengan klik youtube.com/musicawards atau ketik “YTMA” di YouTube.
Ada enam kategori yang akan diperebutkan dalam ajang ini, dan inilah nominasinya!
