MTV baru saja membagikan daftar lengkap nominasi ajang Video Music Awards (VMA) 2022 pada Selasa (26/7) waktu Amerika Serikat. Acara MTV VMA 2022 nantinya akan digelar pada 28 Agustus 2022 di New Jersey, AS.
Ada tiga musisi yang mendominasi dengan raihan terbanyak dalam nominasi Video Music Awards (VMA) 2022. Tiga musisi tersebut, yakni Lil Nas X, Jack Harlow, dan Kendrick Lamar yang meraih tujuh nominasi.

Lil Nas X dan Jack Harlow akan bersaing memperebutkan kategori Artist of the Year, bersama Bad Buddy, Drake, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles, dan Lizzo. Sementara Kendrick Lamar masuk kategori Best Hip-Hop untuk N95, Video for Good untuk The Heart Part 5, dan Best Direction untuk Family Ties, yang dimana ini merupakan pertama kalinya ia masuk sejak 2018
Selanjutnya, ada Harry Styles dan Doja Cat yang meraih enam nominasi di VMA 2022. Kemudian ada Drake, Ed Sheeran, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, dan the Weeknd masing-masing lima nominasi.
